Middle and High School Maker Camp

Maker Camp is a weekly program for creative Middle and High Schoolers who would like to work at the Rutgers Makerspace to develop products as solutions to problems.

Participants will choose from a variety of problems to solve, with the goal of developing an innovative product or process.  Students, working in collaborative teams, will analyze key features and fully define their chosen problem and brainstorm and shape a solution.  This solution will first be paper prototyped and then designed in a CAD package, and finally fully realized and fabricated using key makerspace tools, such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC machines.  Participants will share and demo final solutions and working prototypes.

Lunches will not be provided - please send your child with a lunch each day.

For questions or additional information, please contact Dawna Schultz, Director of In-District Initiatives at CMSCE at dawnas@docs.rutgers.edu or 848-445-3025.
